A copper heating element, a bimetal switch and a glass jug. Every machine is assembled and tested by hand in the Netherlands, and every part can be bought on its own. It brews a litre in six minutes and has never asked for a password.

Repairable: Opens with common tools, spare parts are available, and replacement parts work without the maker unlocking them.
